An extensive park along the edge of Lake Burley Griffin, with a walking path along the waters edge, and may often spot the occasional black swan, and with excellent views across the lake taking in Parliament House, the High Court building and the National Library. The annual Floriade display is held at the western end of the park, usually from the middle of September for one month. The park is also a short walk from the southern end of the city. Some parking is also available.
